Sending [present] a copy of Le Brun's "Hymne," asking him to propose it to the directorate and, if it is deemed suitable, to have it engraved beneath the music (so far as that is practical), asking Lépeaux, when showing the poem to the directorate, to remind them of Le Brun's honorable indigence, etc.; with a manuscript copy of the text of Le Brun's "L'Hymne du vingt-un Janvier."
